What an awesome list. I'm exploring all of these again with my kiddo.I do however have one confession: I'm a Giving Tree hater. LOL. True! I want to call him the Selfish Little Boy Who Took Advantage of the Sweet Giving Tree.Sorry. That book gets me worked up every time.It really is an awesome list.
Haha. I know what you are saying though. I've always wondered about the message in that one.
LOL @ Juju!I have read and remember all of these very well!Of course I have children and do daycare! :-)My fav of the bunch is "Goodnight Moon"
I love Goodnight Moon!!
Aww Sweet!! Do you still like children's books?I recommend Oliver Jeffers's work! he's an awesome author
I do. I'm going to buy them all just to have them.
A Very Hungry Caterpillar was my shit when I was little!Amber Elise @ Du Livre
I remember that one!
I loved Goodnight Moon and Green Eggs and Ham. Classics!
I love all Dr. Seuss reads.
I remember most of these but my mind blurs on whether it is because I loved them or my boys loved them. There was this owl book that featured three baby owls. It mesmerized my younger son to no end and we read it over and over again. I wish I could remember the title of that one. Also, tub people book about a family of little plastic people that live in the tub - we would check that one out of the library almost every week for a long time. Ah, the memories.
I need to find those. They sound so sweet. Anything that enamors a child must be awesome.
Those are some great kids' books! Seeing them again brings back some wonderful memories :)
I know, right?
Those are soo cute!!!! The Giving Tree is just adorable!
Uh oh. There's a conflict about The Giving Tree :)
I remember reading 'Love You Forever' with my Mom so many times. It's actually quite depressing, although definitely beautiful as well.
I don't remember Love You Forever. Hmmm...now I'm wondering why it is depressing.
I LOVE The Giving Tree and Green Eggs and Ham. When I worked at a pre-school, I read Dr. Seuss books all the time. I had fun doing funny voices while reading Green Eggs and Ham. When I was little, my parents met Dr. Seuss and had him autograph a book. I still have it!
That sounds so cute. You were probably wonderful.
